  • Typical IUE students have a strong desire to teach in an urban school.
  • They believe that all children are capable of learning.
  • They will be committed to the IUE program for four years, through graduation.
  • Upon graduation, they will honor their contractual agreement to teach in a Kansas City partner urban school district for at least four years.
  • They bring their best to their teaching, concentrating on quality and mastery of subject matter.
