Renewing financial support
The UMKC School of Education's Institute for Urban Education (IUE) is a program that attracts potential urban teachers by partially funding their education.
The UMKC School of Education's IUE financial scholarships contribute toward tuition for up to four years depending on the number of applicable credit hours held by the student when they begin the IUE program.
-
Students applying to the IUE must apply annually for Free Application of Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
-
Students seeking multiple scholarships to improve their chances for receiving additional monetary awards should be aware that the IUE scholarship cannot be stacked or combined with any of the following:
UMKC Trustees Scholarship
UMKC KC High School Award
UMKC Undergraduate Award
UMKC Athletic Scholarship
Curator's Freshman Award
Curator's Transfer Award
Chancellor's Scholar Award
Chancellor's Transfer Award
Phi Theta Kappa Award
